blazardragon: Preview of Chapter 27 of Koro-Q! Here’s a translation of the latest Koro-Q chapter! Looks like Class E is giving their best to get us an ending that doesn’t involve Korosensei dying. Do your best, Class E! Page 1 Narration: After we accidentally sealed away his motivation, Korosensei became completely defenseless. Narration: Meanwhile, after learning of the Big Bad’s revival, those confident in their strength rushed to subjugate him. Narration: For the sake of protecting Korosensei, Class E fought, Narration: And they accomplished the magnificent feat of pushing away their foes. Narration: However, Narration: Their celebration was short lived, as their foes didn’t know how to quit. Nagisa: You’re kidding me… Maehara: Shit! Okuda: Is Korosensei back to normal yet!? Kimura: That’s right! If Korosensei’s back to his usual self, then… Page 2 Students: His motivation has hit rock bottom!!!! Somebody in a sheep(?) costume: Why is he getting worse!? Okano: Didn’t you say that you’d be back to normal any minute now!? Okano: And where the heck did that futon come from!? Ritsu: I can’t recover our communication signal! Page 3 Isogai: Something must’ve happened to Karasuma-sensei and the others… Isogai: Anyway, we’ll have to hold on by ourselves for a little while longer… Sugaya: You’ve gotta be kidding! Sugaya: There’s nothing we can do against that many people! Maehara: Are you’re saying we should just give up!? Okano: Hey! Stop that! Okano: This isn’t the time for us to be fighting each other! Nagisa: There’s a ton of them approaching us from the north!! Maehara: What!? Sugino: They broke down the wall, and now they’re rushing in! Page 4 Yoshida: Hara’s supposed to be protecting the northern end! Muramatsu: So even a power bug like hers wasn’t enough… Hara: I’m sorry, everyone! Students: Hara! Are you alright!? Hara: This happened because I ate too much of the wall… Yoshida: So this is your fault!!? Note on Hara’s bug: While her bug is active, her power will dissipate unless she continuously eats. Hara: When I make a mistake, I fix it!* Hara: I’ll hold the enemy back! Hara: You guys should lead Korosensei toward the interior of the castle! Hara: Let’s make sure… Page 5 Hara: We all come back alive! Muramatsu and Yoshida: Didn’t you learn your lesson the first time!? Muramatsu and Yoshida: Are you planning on devouring the entire Big Bad Castle!? Hara: Th-that wasn’t my intention! Isogai: Alright, let’s get Korosensei inside! Isogai: Those who can still fight will engage the enemy here! Isogai: Nagisa! Karma! We leave Korosensei to you! Notes: * If translated literally, Hara is saying “I wipe my own butt!” which is why she’s flexing her glutes in this panel. It’s an idiomatic expression in Japan that means you take responsibility for and clean up after your own mistakes. Also, on panel 2 of page 1, Maehara is imitating a meme from Japan called “Mayu-tan’s Kung-fu”. So that you can see what I mean, I have Maehara’s version on the right, and I have the original version of the meme on the left: I suspect there might be other Japanese memes hidden in the montage on page 1, too, but this is the only one I recognize. -- source link
