To all the small-breasted women out there: This photo is a badge of honor. I had it taken shortly after I decided I no longer wanted to get breast implants. My small breast size was always my biggest insecurity, and I thought getting breast implants was the only thing that would help me feel better about myself. I felt shamed into changing my body. Unfortunately, I was trapped in an I *have* to mindset, rather than an I *choose* to. But after A LOT of hard work and a long personal journey with self-acceptance, I CAN NOW SAY I NO LONGER WANT BREAST IMPLANTS. In fact, I now really appreciate my size and I view myself in a whole new way. My experience was so transformative that it inspired me to share my journey with other women. I want to share the insights I learned about self-love and acceptance so that other women can avoid the pain and insecurity I experienced. If this resonates with you, I invite you to check out my site, YourBreastSelf.com, where I empower small-breasted women to change how they view themselves. I’m actively working to reshape the conversation around breast size and I hope you’ll help me spread the message.
