You wanna talk about My fantasies? I’d like to be outside in the crisp air of autumn-colored mountains right now, ready to tuck into a breakfast of fried eggs and some freshly caught fish, crispy hashbrowns, soda bread with butter, piping hot coffee and cream. Then, the hunger in My belly sated, I’d drag My man back into our fantasy cabin, leaving the curtains open so we can see the incredible view of jagged peaks as we sate a different kind of hunger in a different body part. The big question these days is who that man would be. Because I need to face the fact that while love (and lust) can keep us together, holding different worldviews can ultimately repel. That makes me a little sad, because now that I’ve decided to end it with him, I will miss him. But it’s okay, Because I have a firm belief in what my mother always says: Men are like streetcars. There’s always another one coming around the corner. -- source link
