Imagine holding collective trauma in your body Collective grief Heavy ancestral duty. Imagine releasing that into the land Allowing the earth to transmute it. Imagine the spaciousness to process grief. Imagine being held by soil, nearby trees Magnolia flowers. Supported into ease by the sweet scent of jasmine. And slipping into a bath to wash away the clutter. Resetting. Taking pause. Remembering yourself. This is a vision that, when fully realized, will be supportive & slow & communal. And most importantly, safe and affirming for Black & Indigenous queer & trans folks. So let’s get these funds so when tragedy & urgency comes again, we wont need to imagine & wait. It is also a practice you can get close to RIGHT NOW in your backyard, patio, apartment, bathroom, or bed. Keep that one tiny potted plant close, or your plant corner. Make your situation work for you. Get that shit out. Regularly. WE NEED US ALL AT OUR BEST. Take pause when you need to.
