I’m not sure how he wormed his way into my mind in the first place, but he’s got his hooks in deep now. I do absolutely everything he says. At first I fought him with all my might. You’d never know it - I never managed to show even the tiniest bit of resistance. I think he knows, he can feel it somehow. But now… I’ve sort of given up, a bit. It scares me to realize it, but I’ve come to enjoy doing what he says. He knows that I’m only obeying because I literally can’t disobey, but there’s a look of pride in his eyes when I’m especially good. You’d think I wouldn’t want that, wouldn’t care what he thought. You would think I’d hate the monster that turned me from a smart, professional young woman to a smiling sex-obsessed moron. I don’t. I get excited, seeing that look. Maybe it’s just another level of his control over me kicking in. Maybe I’m just trying to make the best of the situation. Maybe it’s Stockholm Syndrome.
