I last read… ‘The Little Wooden Robot and the Log Princess’ by Tom Gauld what I wanted: honestly, I needed this for the “book with a mushroom on the cover” prompt for this years Beat the Backlist challenge, but I also had it on my tbr because it looked cute what I got: lovely visuals with not too much plot what I thought: I love the art in this, especially on very “crowded” pages like the cover and endpapers! There are so many cute details to find! I thought the story itself would have a little more depth, but it was still very nice to read. Overall I rate it 3 out of 5 little wooden things. -- source link
