❄️ You’ve been wandering in these woods for quite a while now, and that cold mist doesn’t help you finding your path. Though the air around you is quite chilling for the season, you feel strangely relaxed, as a subtle soothing perfume is floating around you. You can’t really define what it reminds you, but somehow, you find it comforting. As you stumble around, feeling your legs heavier with each step but not really minding, you start seeing a big and kinda round shape from afar, between the trees. Its bright red color has something alluring to you, like a beacon of hope towards which you slowly walk. As you’re getting closer, you start noticing some big dark dots on the back of the round shape, through the blurry fog in between. As if it was a giant ladybug of some sort. This thought makes you softly chuckle, and you’re smiling as you are now slowly crawling towards it, curious and somewhat giddy to discover what this big and round thing really looks like. You’re starting to feel a cold tingling sensation on your face and hands, like when you went out last winter and witnessed the first snowflakes falling slowly on the small areas where your skin wasn’t covered. Now that you’re looking around you, you notice tiny white grains floating about, all around you. They seem to be the source of the tingling sensation, each time one of them touches your skin. The flowery scent is getting stronger and stronger, making your head dizzy and your thoughts harder and harder to focus on your goal, which seems so close, but yet so far. But you’re getting closer to it. Unless it’s the other way around ? Maybe you should lay down a little bit. The ground feels so comfortable to your head. Even your own bed isn’t as soft as the dirt right now. You’re widely smiling, rolling awkwardly on your back. You barely hear the footsteps of the giant flower scented ladybug as it’s now reached your unresponsive body and lowering its head towards yours. As it is closer now, there’s is no doubt. It is no ladybug. But you don’t care. You feel safe as its hands gently grab the sides of your numb head and you’re still smiling as its yellow teeth sink in your cheeks.
