Sometimes I just have something somewhere just because leaving it empty bugs me. And then there are times when I have an idea that I realize can replace the place holder. This is one of those times. Before the balloons, I had alternating types of orang flowers. But orange happens to be my least favorite color (but one of my favorite fruits). So when I learned the moss balloon recipe, I thought it’d be fun to throw them somewhere, but I wasn’t sure where. I have a few balloons around the island accents, but I didn’t really want to replace them all. So I was wandering around and had an idea! Why not replace something that I hate?Side note, I did in fact purposely use pan colors (though not exactly magenta). Besides the pan flags I have, I have a lot of subtle symbology around my island. It’s also a happy coincidence that pink, yellow and blue are three of my favorite colors. So it goes well with my island theme (or lack there of). -- source link
