It’s far too much of a “True Scotsman” argument fallacy, as well as running into issues with differing tastes and perceptions vs. realities. But it’s a nice fantasy. You’re right. There’s no such thing as “True Dom” because every single Dom and Domme is different. What I meant by the term is that a Dom/Domme does not need to bang at their chest and roar, “I AM SUPERIOR SO OBEY ME!” When I wrote this, I was thinking of majority of men who approach me and tell me that they are a Dom as if I should automatically drop onto my knees. Perhaps they can make others yield but does not mean I would submit. It does not work that way. I am a stubborn, proud black woman with a disability who can take care of myself. I also have the need to take control of things so it take A LOT for me to give up my control. I strive to serve but only if I give them my entire being because I’m able to trust them to not forget who I am as a human being. I hope this make sense to you and help clarify some things. Let me just say, publicly, that it does. Knowing the context always helps! Thank you for the response; I’m surprised but happy that we’re able to interact so positively in this format.
