whatmakesaspanko: Domestic Discipline when kids live at home Disciplining your wife when there are children living at home can often present some challenges.  The wife’s privacy is paramount!  Younger children should not know that mom is disciplined by dad as they may not understand the need for secrecy.  This lifestyle is not mainstream and could be seen as abusive by some.  Therefore, discretion is extremely important.  It would be embarrassing and could even be devastating to a family if a child went to school and said “Guess what my dad did to my mom last night!”  Older kids will become aware at some point that discipline occurs between their parents; however, it is imperative that the discipline is not overheard by the younger children. It can actually be important for older kids – High School and college – to know that discipline has no age limit. One of the pictures below shows a wife and her divorced sister - both receiving needed discipline. But, how do you handle physical discipline when children still live at home?  Here are some options that may work for you. Handle discipline issues after the kids are in bed.  Some couples use televisions, radios, fans, showers or a variety of noise makers to mask the sound.  This method comes with a couple of risks.  First, all the extra noise may wake up the children before the spanking even begins.  Second, if the husband is tired, waiting for children to fall asleep can sometimes cause him to doze off rather than to deal with things.  This option works best with younger kids. There are a wide variety of quiet implements that can be used.  Loopy Johnny’s, canes, or  switches are fairly quiet.   However, while the implements may be quiet – the wife may not be!  A pillow is good for masking certain sounds too. If a home is large enough, spankings can occur in another section of the home such as a basement, office, workshop, or garage.  Some couples have tried spankings in large vehicles.  Many husbands feel that this is difficult because the limited space hampers their swing.  If the couple has an RV, it may work well for an alternate location.  Spankings can also take place in other locations outside of the home.  Some families have other buildings on the property, others use barns or sheds.  Some husbands have opted to spank their wives outside in a remote area, weather permitting. The most common solution for children in the home is for the spankings to occur when the kids are out of the house.  Some families send their kids to the neighbors.  Some teens attend youth group events which gives mom and dad privacy.  If schedules permit, spankings can also happen while the children are at school. Children at home are a hurdle to jump over, but it is not impossible! No matter which option is chosen, a committed couple will work it out and make it happen.  Be creative, but ensure that the wife retains her privacy and respect from the children. -- source link
