franeur:lesbianherstorian:a logo of the detroit gay liberation front, 1970 who designed this?? this logo is pure genius. it’s such an elegant way to encompass all the lgb sexualities and the connections between us.the venus symbol on the left only intersects with the other venus symbol (= lesbians); the venus symbol in the middle intersects with the other venus symbol and the mars symbol (= bisexual women); the mars symbol in the middle intersects with the other mars symbol and the venus symbol (= bisexual men); the mars symbol on the right only intersects with the other mars symbol (= gay men).i want to see this logo more often to represent lgb solidarity!!/btw this is my personal interpretation of that logo, feel absolutely free to correct me if i’m wrong :) -- source link
