ldso-tron:mister-julius:My lovely li’l Tron spot is starting to get cramped. Might need to find a new shelving unit soon. Thanks for sharing this picture of your TRON collection! You have a lot of great stuff. You’ve also confirmed something for me. That there were at least two different small box versions of TRON 2.0 released in North America. One with foil, and one without. I know there were also amaray (aka DVD case) releases, that I believe were mainly confined to European countries. And there was a big box version of TRON 2.0, that may have been exclusive to Walmart in the U.S. I don’t know if there was a big box foil release, though. Not sure if there was a jewel case release, but I’ve never seen one. There was also a prototype box that’s different from the final release, of which only a handful were made.https://twitter.com/_LDSO_/status/1409701527711752198- TronFAQ The one without foil is actually pretty interestingIt’s a preorder box!Okay that’s pretty mundane to most but it’s interesting to me lolBoth it and the full copy of the game are sealed. I’ve been tempted to open them to see if that extraordinarily rare guard figure is in ‘em, but I figured I wouldn’t be quite that lucky so they’ve just sat at this little shrine. -- source link
