Blooming today once again: Echinopsis terscheckii, el cardon grande! I managed to get a shot with a bee coming in for a landing. In the few minutes I spent visiting the cactus I saw bumblebees, a carpenter bee, and two hummingbirds visit these flowers. I’m not the only one drawn in by the magnificence of the blossoms!
