Its final signal, sent at approximately 6:32 a.m. EDT, is expected to reach Earth, 1.2 billion kilometers away, 83 minutes later at 7:55 a.m. EDT. The Cassini-Huygens mission is a cooperative project of NASA, ESA (European Space Agency) and the Italian Space Agency.
