autogynephelia: Pantyhose or no pantyhose?Unless you’re a sex worker or kept woman with blemish-free legs who spends spending large parts of the day doing squats in cowgirl position or at the gym; then it’s likely you’re not happy with your legs (or indeed life) and that’s where pantyhose come into the the equation - even in summer.Oddly, many cis women resent spending their lives in pantyhose, non-natal women tend to adore them; but even for those who can do without pantyhose in summer, they often wear them. The reason is simple, pantyhose are makeup for legs. Stockings or holdups are an option, but unless you’re in need of sexual harassment or paid-for-sex, they don’t work with those cute and girly short summer skirts that make the most of your glorious gams.Unfortunately, the summer bare leg look isn’t going to work if you choose cheap tights. I prefer Wolford Nude 8 (8 denier), but I also buy Falke Shelina (12 denier) Fogal All Nude (10 denier), Aristoc Ultra Bare (7 denier), and Pretty Polly Skin Tones (5 denier). Everyone’s raving about Heist and The Nude (18 denier), so I may try a pair soon.I suggest you choose a denier between a 5 and 15 depending on the amount of coverage needed to smooth-away your blemishes. Also, don’t be afraid to try a tone that’s one up (darker) from your skin colour. Make sure there are no seams (sandal friendly).Wolford Nude 8 in Fairly Light, Cosmetic and Black are my best colours of the 8 they have in this range. These pantyhose exert a discreet sheen in the direct sunlight, this gives my legs more contrast in a three-dimensions. The powder effect of the nylon (the elastan is in the waistband) really evens out any of the slight differences in the overall tones of my legs and blurs the scars.Nude 8 are so soft but so strong. I feel totally confident wearing them in a mini skirt. An ouvert gusset would be helpful for complete freshness (hygiene) and access (genitalia); but you can’t have it all I guess. -- source link
