heebjeebs: Taken from Instagram: #regram of DaIlas Clayton post “I found this photo sometime last year. I had never seen it before. Perhaps you have. When I did, I wrote the following note to a friend, which only seems fitting to share today: It’s a powerful notion being killed for what you believe in. Being killed so others, years later, can celebrate together the occasion of your birth in ways that were unheard of when you were here. This photo has me thinking now about the value of life and the understanding of death. What it can mean to have impact and worth beyond yourself. It sat with me for a good while. I didn’t come to any conclusions but doors were opened, levers switched on. All this from a picture of a man I never knew! Sometimes we see people so often that they become invisible objects like apparel logos or highway billboards and then one day with no real plan for it we catch them from a different angle and all of their essence floods right though and carries us off like a leaf in the wind on an uncharted journey to new and wonderful places. Good luck today, in whatever you do, whether still pushing a massive stone up a seemingly unconquerable mountain, or basking in the glow of all that you’ve been afforded by those who came before you, know that your voice matters and you are capable of great things. Keep going! We’re all in this together !” -- source link
