soulrevision:Yes, this is real. On Tuesday the Arizona legislature passed SB 1445. A law that would fibroid any state agency from releasing the name of police officers who shoot a civilian when they shooting results in death or “serious physical injury”. This bill passed both the House & Senate with ease and is now sitting on the governors desk.In short, AZ police wants the ability to kills us and be free from being named. They’ll name the victim though. Not only will police name the victim or “perceived” suspect, they’ll be sure to release info if the victim has a criminal/juvenile background. In the article, the Arizona Police Association states that they’re “afraid protesters will march in front of the homes of officers who shoot unarmed civilians”. Ummmm they expect us to go quietly?! Let’s examine this cause I need y’all to see the different worlds we live in. We are scared that police will kill us with impunity, meanwhile, Arizona police are scared we’ll protest in front of their homes if they do. We are scared of dying while they are scared of being inconvenienced. I can’t! -- source link
