day 8: before and afterhere’s a before and after of my japanese penmanship after six years of self-study! this is one of the very first exercises i did from my first japanese textbook circa 2012, plus the haphazard copy of it i made today (8/20/17) in about two seconds. you can see the change: my characters have gotten smaller overall, closer to the size of my english handwriting, and i now write with kanji, too (however poorly). if only 12-year-old me knew how far she’d get with 日本語 on her own! -- source link
