Growing old together - Part 2Here’s part 1!!More random facts!!They managed to escape after being captured by the Venatori, but Fenris had been exposed to red lyrium for too long, and grows weaker by the hour.After getting Varric’s message, Marian decides to gain leverage with the Inquisition and request their help in return for her assistance. She ends up getting stuck in the fade, but Varric makes sure they keep their end of the bargain. (I’m a sucker so everyone is alright in the end)After assisting the Inquisition as advisors, they leave for Tevinter, to seek information about Fen’s markings. Marian finds she’s pregnant shortly after.There’s a lot I don’t know about this period just yet, depends on what happens in the next game, but they mostly stay out of the whole “saving the world” business.They move to a remote forested area on the edge of the Dales. Only their closest friends know where their little hut is. I believe they’d have a magic barrier or something to avoid being accidentally found, but it’s a work in progress.Little Aengus is a blessing for them both - things get a bit more complex once he finds his connection to the fade though. He grows up to focus on healing and restorative magic!After old Bacon passes away, they adopt the puppies of an old stray Aengus had helped. I’m still working on their names, but they make things a lot livelier after Aengus leaves their little hut.They grow old and grizzled, and you can tear that fact from my cold dead hands. -- source link
