kelincihutan: “A Mighty Fortress Is Our God,” words and music by Martin Luther (and, of course, he wrote it in German, so the original title is “Eiene Feste Burg Ist Unser Gott”), has sometimes been referred to as “the Battle Hymn of the Reformation.” It continues to be a favored hymn of Reformed Protestants around the world, having been translated into multiple languages and sung around the world. In fact, the following arrangement, by Mark Hayes, was–to the best of my knowledge–originally written in English. However, this recording by a Korean choir, was the best one I was able to locate.
