Gloves for Silica (OS ver.). The dark teal fabric is some sort of performance knit, with self-lining for the stripe that goes up the forearms and knit interfacing. The black details are that cheap Halloween pleather from JoAnn with the reverse side facing outward. 0.25" gold button details. I followed a tutorial to make the gloves and they were tedious to hand-sew. They also turned out a bit small, by which I mean it’s a struggle to get them on and off. I definitely didn’t get the finger width to gusset ratios right, either. I originally tried to make the black details from knit fabric but they would not create sharp corners, so I had to change plans. -- source link
