archiemcphee:Indonesian photographer Edy Hardjo uses high-end 1/6-scale superhero action figures and a little bird of Photoshop (to remove joint on the action figures and the stands supporting them) to create playful scenes that reveal the daily lives of superheroes when they aren’t busy saving the world. It turns out they like to play hopscotch, go out to lunch together and even roast marshmallows on Ghost Rider’s flaming head. Surprisingly, none of them can handle the sight of a tiny mouse. Our favorite photos focus on The Hulk, who often seems to have a hard time with the little things. He give Thor a dramatic haircut, has an unfortunate encounter with a facehugger, tries to mend his shredded pants, and struggles to get the last sucker out of the candy jar. On the upside, The Hulk also gets to experience a tender moment listening to Black Widow’s baby in utero.Hardjo’s photos infuse these wonderfully detailed action figures with vibrant and whimsical life.
