Study group invitation!Hi, friends! It’s been a while! Just came in to say how happy I am that this community is still thriving!With everything going on around the world, I know it’s been hard to focus. I want to share this online study group that has been a huge help to me for the past 6+ months that we’ve been studying together. I figured I’d pay it forward by inviting more studious brains over![ What it is ]It’s a study group which started early this year over on Jitsi, which is akin to Zoom, but the room stays open 24/7. However, for security reasons, we migrated to JumpInChat, which is still pretty neat! We come from all over the world, from different time zones, in different fields of study, so there’s almost always someone in the room to study with you![ What we do ]We usually do pomodoro sessions together via Forest or Cuckoo. Some like to share their screen, cam, or a combination of both for some accountability. Or if you’re a little shy, you can also just connect and study with us. You do you![ Why we do it ]For some of us, studying alone can be a daunting task, especially if you’re stuck at home with all the distractions. Being in the presence of other people can help you focus if you get distracted a lot.
