comeintotheparlour: tormund0giantsbane:I could spend a weekend in these restraints. Heavily sedated, cathed and with an NG tube in. Barely able to move but completely aware of all the tubes and IVs in me. In less words. So much yes… Your girlfriend, who works as a nurse at the asylum, offers to give you a guided tour. You’ve always had a thing about the asylum so you readily agree, being very excited and yet a little afraid of what you might discover. She tells you that some of the patients are very sensitive to outsiders, so as not to risk upsetting them, she tells you she will help you ‘blend in’. You do not understand what she means until she holds up the white patient gown. This is an added thrill, and you readily strip off and let her, your nurse/girlfriend put you in the gown. Then comes the shocker. She tells you that all patients wear nappies and rubber pants. You consider, briefly, saying no but think, what the hell, and lie down on the bed and let your nurse/girlfriend put you in a nappy and thick white rubber pants.Your nurse tells you to wait in the room so she can check with the head nurse it is ok to take you round the hospital. Whilst she is away, you can’t help but rub your hands over the gown she tied you into and the nappy and rubber pants you are wearing. This does wonderful things to your imagination. She returns, just as you are rubbing your nappy and rubber through the gown, and allows herself a smile. You notice she is carrying two glasses of water. She takes a sip from her glass and offers you the other. You’re not all that thirsty but take the glass. She tells you we need to drink these here as it would be to risky to take the glasses into the ward. This makes sense so you drink it down.Your tour of the asylum is fascinating, all the more so when you recognise two 0f the patients as old school pals. There is only slight recognition of you as they look to be heavily medicated. Then you are shown a treatment room. Your nurse/girlfriend show you the ect machine, explaining how it works and what the treatment hopes to achieve. Off course there is always a degree of permanent brain damage when we administer this, she explains, before asking you if you’d like to try it. A little part of you wants to lie down but you pull away. It’s about now that you begin to feel a little hot and light headed. Your nurse/girlfriend looks at you strangely and asks if you are ok? You smile, shake it off and put it down to the overbearing atmosphere in the asylum. Oh yes please this would be heaven -- source link
