At my old high school they hold the Classic Culture Week, which is a pretty cool event where schools from all aver the nation can come and perform a classic Play.So this year my sister is in the promotion committee and organized a thing where people could “adopt” a number, make something creative with it so that it could be used for the countdown.I was pretty into the idea, jumped aboard and picked nine, cause I had this awesome idea for a painting of the the nine muses that was going to be fantastic… and then I realized that I only had 4 days to make it.I don’t go well (yet) with this kind of tight deadlines because I’m terribly slow, so this happened. After five or more sketches that were good but that I would have never managed to finish in time, I had to resign and make something quick and hopefully pretty enough not to look like I didn’t care for it.Sigh. But at least I got to try out this new paper that is absolutely fantastic for this kind of work, so… silver lining!Technique: watercolors on paperDeviantArt -- source link
