meripihka7:chelidon:meripihka7:things-chelidon-draws:The Dead Romans Society - Page 14<>That is really deep!I was not expecting narrative metaphysics after all that Cicero and Catullus being babes.Well done, ma’am!Heheh, I lure victi…*ehm* readers with funny things and then BAMBut thanks for noticing! (there is also a good load of metaliterature here)Heh, I prefer the deep stuff anyway. Which is why I am perennially mentally exhausted. Is the metaliterature “here” as in this specific page or the comic in general? Because if it’s in this page I’m afraid I’m missing it…Well, it will kinda be in the whole plot, but here it starts to chime in, because here we have a character of my story, Vergil, who is talking about his role in the Divine Comedy both as a character of it (Dante’s Virgilio) and as a character of the dead romans society (aka the actual historical Vergil). This is a reflection on his role as a character and on the condition of a real person who becomes a fictional character, BUT in the perspective of a character of a story (the dead romans) who has become the character of another story (the divine comedy). It’s explained really badly but it’s more or less what I meant -- source link
