after thiessa and genelieth comes another member of the empire, sith lord quaithe.bio: born as the product of a one-off moment of comfort between two slaves working on dromund kaas, quaithe was discovered to be force sensitive by their sith lord master when she killed his son with a well-placed burst of lightning. he was delighted; the boy was seeking to murder him for a chance at his power base and he assumed his dutiful slave had protected him. she hadn’t: quaithe had come across her abilities two years before and trained herself to the point where she could take out the disgusting little boy. regardless, lord tyriost sent her to korriban to train, as a “reward”. way he figured it, she’d succeed and her power would serve him, or she’d fail and die. win-win.quaithe thrived on korriban and thrived even more when she was finally recognised as sith. she had grown up with the sith philosophy around her, and despite the harm one would think it caused her as a slave, she had taken it to heart. the weak or stupid were always going to be dominated by the powerful or clever. and she was both. through victory, my chains are broken. the force shall free me. and it did. now, she is darth nox, member of the dark council overseeing the preservation and reclamation of sith knowledge and history, and ambitious for more.likes: displays of power, reverence to her and the sith as a whole, knowledge and cunning (even in opponents), violence, ambition, ancient rituals to make her own.dislikes: mercy, weakness, power in the hands of those without cunning, modesty, racism/species-ism (anyone who brings up her being twi’lek as a negative dies; it’s very simple), ignorant traditionalism and stagnation, the very idea of peace.gets along with: khem val, despite some early misgivings (she called him ‘monster’ and ‘beast’, he threatened to eat her), they can’t help but like each other: they fuel each other’s bloodlust so nicely. andronikos revel was a surprise to her. he had a cocky and rude charm to him that she liked, he was good in bed, and he flattered her in a sometimes crude, sometimes sweet way that she found delightful. but she never, ever thought she’d get so attached to him. she gets along with xalek and talos drellik as well, but they kind of bore her a little. she doesn’t spend too much time with them, but admires what they can provide.doesn’t get along with: lord zash. she initially respects the shit out of the woman and is thrilled to be chosen as her apprentice, seeing her as a real up-and-comer in the sith. but she knows the way things go: either she kills zash one day or zash kills her. so they flatter each other - zash likely means it, quaithe means it occasionally - and plan. when quaithe wins through the loyalty of khem val, she finds it hilarious. and also a good reason to keep the beast around and get rid of her former master when she can. it really helps that zash keeps referring to her as “apprentice” and talking down to her. sealing her in that box felt good. really good. it’s complicated: ashara zavros. it was always going to be. her conversations were all messed up for him. I assume it’s likely because of the old system where you had to level up your companion affection, but she seemed to think quaithe was wanting to reform the empire and move towards peace??? which is… not true. at all. and there was no way to tell her no? regardless of convo issues, quaithe kind of loves ashara. or rather, she loves the idea of her cracking ashara, and finally getting her to fall entirely. she loves training her in dark side meditation and using the force powers of the dark side. she is her real challenge, her real apprentice. xalek kind of bores her. ashara, on her side, absolutely loathes the cruelty and evil her lord commits, but doesn’t know how to leave (and knows quaithe would probably kill her if she tried). and part of her thinks that maybe she’ll be able to use this training to do some good. they’re playing a dangerous game, both of them.homeworld: dromund kaas, as mentioned above.gender: cis female.sexual orientation: bisexual with a preference for men.age at the start of the story: 23. she’s now about 27.height: 4′8″. she small.weight: around 45kg.species: twi’lek.skin color: yellow; first a deep, bright yellow that fades over the years to a dull, pale colour.hair color: none. she has black markings around her face and lekku.distinguishing features: apart from the whole ‘being a bright yellow twi’lek sith lord’, her dark side corruption is perhaps more and more apparent and distinguishing over the years.net light side / dark side points: currently 200 light / 5100 dark. what gives them lightside points: making selfish choices that help others as well as herself.what gives them darkside points: murder, cruelty, torturing people for information or just because they annoy her, allowing untold deaths to occur, eagerly giving into the dark side.finishing comment: again, here’s the gifts:large influence gain: luxury, delicacies, cultural artifact.moderate influence gain: courting, weapon, trophy.small influence gain: imperial memorabilia. -- source link
