mizumi-kahago-art:Mermaid - AkaneThe fins I chose for Akane are based of a Carp. This is my second attempt of drawing her, the first got banished into the shadow realm. Originally I had a different idea, showing her fighting with her tail, but somehow it evolved into her eating. She needs her meat and well I suppose fish is the only meat around. You have absolutely no idea if Akane Owari’s flirtatious behavior, whether she’s eating or fighting, is accidental or not. You’re supposed to be disgusted when the half-eaten boney fish is sloppily hanging out of her mouth, right? Even now, as she turns to look at you through her lidded eyes and her backside protruding out, you reminded yourself: there’s no way this is by accident. -- source link
