“You don’t have to like vanijeanne or ship them, but how is it boring and cliche which I frequently hear? The dark aspects of their relationship is the least boring stuff I’ve seen in a m/f relationship. The initial hatred, the death pact between them, the sexy blood drinking under dubious consent, and overall the very tragic storytelling of them. Then there’s the tender aspects of their relationship that goes against all odds: the role reversals they have going on, them being each other’s first loves, their comical reactions at falling in love!! I’ve never seen a m/f relationship that manages to be both dark, unhealthy, sexy, and tender all at the same time, and also VERY bisexual. I think calling it boring and cliche is insulting to mochijun who I think has written a very interesting pairing.
