Still trying to catch up on weeks and weeks of DollyTeria buildup. This post is all CoCoon accessories!First pic – fox scarf in true black, with crystal eyes. I think this is one of their earliest releases for what’s become an iconic item. When I first unpacked it, I was a little worried about the state of the fur – there are very “flat”, almost glued? stripes in the material. But this seems to be intentional, as it’s obvious in modeled photos and CoCoon describes the fur as “partially crushed”. Interesting! Being black, it’ll probably get the most use from the boys.Second pic – another fox scarf, but in a soft white fur that matches the next two items. It might get shared around with the boys, too (Justyn, maybe?), but I’m mostly imagining it for V. I think it will pair nicely with some of her +d coats.Third pic – key charm/wallet chain accessory. This one is tiny! DollyTeria had it listed as being for SD, but it’s actually the mini/YoSD version. The small size will still be fun to play with. I might use it for the little girls as the wallet chain, but I also like CoCoon’s suggestion of using it as a purse charm. And either way, I’m thrilled to own this.Fourth pic – different key charm/wallet chain accessory, this time really in SD size. The black and gold accents give it a different, more elegant feel than the soft pastel flowers. It might end up being more for the boys, actually, but everyone will probably get an outfit with it at some point. It’s just… very cool. As much as I love the fox scarves, I think these variations are even more intriguing.Fifth pic – super fun beaded “bow” pin. This is the “white” version (as opposed to the more “gold” version), and it’s really cute. I have some ideas for using this for V already, such as pairing it with this girlish*kiss top.Sixth pic – another black and gold pin, with lots of pretty details. It almost feels too elegant for V, but that’s not going to stop me from trying to use it anyway.Seventh pic – cute little shawl pin, emblazoned with the CoCoon logo. I’m not sure how much I’ll actually end up using it, but it came as part of a listing with something else, so I’m not going to say “no” to owning it. XDEighth pic – gorgeous necklace. V-noss is already using this in her current outfit! I’ve been trying to find one for a while now, so it was a lucky score. The various gems and beads match nicely with the Alfheim satchel I got in my first order from DollyTeria, which pleases me greatly.Ninth pic – beautifully delicate beaded headband and anklets?. I tossed these into my cart almost on reflex, and seeing them in person makes me both glad I did, and puzzled about how I’m going to use them, heh. Again, they seem almost too elegant and pretty for V… I’ll have to work hard to figure out an outfit that will match them.CoCoon makes such pretty things~ Most of their focus in recent years have been on their gorgeous fantasy companions and fox scarves, but it’s nice to be able to get some of these older pieces. -- source link
