Young Matthew is very interested in his new Alphabet-book, which is fairly advanced for a three-year-old. I’m to give you my father’s greetings, unfortunately he couldn’t come himself. We are a little worried about our tenants though – they’re as good as family. Don’t you think so, being a landlord yourself? Mr Fraser: Absolutely. Ysobel: There’s John McNeil, brother to Walter and Owen, who’s highly motivated to start his own farm, but we’re afraid if we don’t find a cottage for him soon, he’ll leave for the Colonies.
