Snapshots of my trip to the Lower Pecos River area, to see ancient rock art for the #rockartrendezvous2019 with the Witte Museum and Rock Art Foundation. Murals, motifs, and pigment from 9k+ years ago only scratch the surface for what life was like then. Apparently this site is one of the largest in the world! What other secrets is Texas hiding? . If you look closely in the first two photos, some art is visible. . It was reminiscent of my Big Bend trip, and the night sky was even brighter with stars.
