detectiveashcroft: precollst: (Someone wanted to step out of their comfort zone and failed. Didn’t remove the crooked sketch to remind me that I still have to learn and learn to draw). But what a beautiful Toff it turned out to be. just a workout where it was clear in advance who would emerge victorious from the fight. Behold, the conquering Lizard~And hey, there’s never anything wrong with going outside your comfort zones and trying something new. Definitely like the dynamic vibe you’ve got here (and that’s saying that without any of the clear biases due to subject matter…which sure they are there BUT, I am speaking from a critical perspective too!), giving the air of a nice introductory splash page, making the mind’s eye imagine it being set either high noon (as to get the peek glisten of the sun light against what is likely the results of a very heart work out), or perhaps at peak cinematic ‘magic hour’ (the tail end of an extremely long training regimen or fight just as the day is nearly done, and you’ve got the whole range of colors to play with). Least, that’s where my mind’s going when I see this picture and its potential for direction!Either way, this is great work, and definitely a mark in your favor for trying something new. Good job =D If this is a ‘failed’ attempt what does a successful one look like?? The Sistine Chapel?? -- source link
