This app makes my skin look waaaaay better than it is- I have lots of small scars on my face. Scars that tell my story. And while it’s nice to look better once in a while, in a world full of deepfakes and filters, it’s important not to get caught up in feeling like you HAVE to pretty up in order to be see and valid. Someone is always looking up to you- someone is always looking at you for context. You help normalize what’s worthy in the eyes of younger people.
