So I have received a TON of questions about my Tyrande armor! I’m SOOOOOO flipping proud of how this turned out considering I made these pieces in the course of less than 3 days after working and Halloween. If you wanna see the in progress photos, check out my Tyrande storg archive up at the top of my page Just to start, I purchased the armor patterns from @narga_lifestream and I couldn’t have even considered getting this costume done for Blizzcon without them! They were easy to follow and the tutorial pdf helped make sense of all of the details! The bases of the larger pieces are made of black worbla. I then laid the paper patterns on my desk and placed parchment paper over them. Gems are made of hot glue mixed with 4 types of glitter and placed in an oval silicone mold. I carved ¼ inch craft foam for any needed larger pieces, laid them and the gems where they go on the parchment paper, and used my hot glue to complete all of the swirls and filigree! Then I peeled off the hot glue and glued the whole pice to the base of worbla! Everything is attached onto my dress through snaps or straps! I hope this helps! This technique was extremely fast and easy! #tyrandewhisperwind #tyrande #tyrandecosplay #Warcraft #warcraft3 #nightelf ##worldofwarcraft #wowcosplay #worldofwarcraftcosplay #blizzcon2018 #blizzcon #tyrandearmor #tyrandearmortutorial #hotglue #hotgluearmortutorial https://www.instagram.com/p/BpxyRaGDqFB/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=18xzin8texsb7 -- source link
