Because why would they need to be bigger?). A CIH.1103/1019 assembler virus, which fucking wrecked around 60 million motherboards in 1998-2000, beyond any repairs, was only, if I remember correctly, 91 KB in size. So yeah, maybe not destroying/saving the world, but a 1MB of space is pretty much capable of wrecking shit and havoc. thanks nerd -- source link
