Aeonium ‘Glenn Davidson’This plant has the distinction of being the very first succulent acquired by Ruth Bancroft, back in the 1960′s. It fascinated her, and led to many years of collecting succulents, culminating in the planting of her amazing dry garden. Like other Aeonium plants, the rosettes of leaves are monocarpic, meaning that they die after flowering. This is not a worry, however, since the plant puts out lots of offsets that continue after the mother plant goes. Ruth’s garden is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.-Brian -- source link
