moon-simmers: Sable Square, Brindleton Bay 1780.Rosemary has received a letter from Cristobal Clermont III, an old family acquaintance, inviting her for a walk in SableSquare. The young Clermont was heir to the title of Count as was she, so there was always a certain predisposition from both families for a union between the two. When she was disinherited the ideas of marriage were gone, but the two of them still maintained their relationship in spite of everything. Lady Rosemary: Hello Cristobal, I was very happy when I received your letter. I didn’t know you knew where I was living now. Lord Cristobal: It’s all the talk in the salons this month, Rose. Amazing how in spite of all your current situation, you still have that jovial and affectionate air you always had.Lady Rosemary: And you still maintain that aristocratic naivety and innocence. Don’t think I’m still the same, these months I’ve changed extremely. I have even washed my own clothes.Lord Cristobal: I would never have seen you able to use your hands more than to play the piano or lift a book, I am happily perplexed. -- source link
