mar-mellata:muggle au - harry is either a famous footballer OR is he just has a weekly game with his mates and they’ve got cute matching tshirts#STOP this is one of my favourite tropes ever#i have a huge headcanon that harry actually adores football#he’d hear the tv blaring in the dursley’s living room on a saturday afternoon and open the ventilation slats in his cupboard door to listen#he’d see kids trading the player cards at school but he never lingered long - dudley would usually show up to take the best ones by force#he’d kick a ball around on the sun-parched front lawn when the summer holidays came around#it’s the one time he could actually outpace and outwit dudley as well#and at hogwarts he and dean quickly became fast friends bickering over the premier league#seamus would chip in every now and then with (in harry’s opinion) completely batshit takes#and although harry’s love for quidditch soon overtook his love for football#his fondness for it never died#headcanon rant over!!
