So dig in for the long haul. Here’s the thing about weight you might not want to hear: It’s fucking HARD…. It’s hard to be overweight. It’s hard to lose weight. It’s hard to maintain weight loss. So choose your fucking hard because only you can choose. And before you even go there …. No, running isn’t the way to lose weight. You lose weight in the kitchen. You get fit on the road/trail. 80% of weight loss is your fork. Only 20% what you do.. That last pic is from a fitbit stats of a little run I went on once. Note the calories burned. That works out to be about 2 pounds of fat. (1 lb fat = 3,500 cals) Are you willing to run 70 miles in the mountains to lose 2 pounds of fat? Well then get control of what is and is not on your fork.
