Fun fact (okay, story) #2:The Greek tale of Philoxenus of Cythera (a particularly greedy man) One night, Philoxenus desired an elaborate meal, which subsequently included a massive, three-foot octopus as its main dish. Upon consuming all eight arms by himself, the man fell ill and required the attention of a doctor. But the doctor’s prognosis was not good—Philoxenus was told he only had hours to live.
