Dreaming of who I wanted to be when I wanted to grow up didn’t take much effort to romanticize about. After all, “you can be anyone you want to be if you put your mind to it” didn’t really sit well with me because I just didn’t understand at the time. As an artist, drawing never came naturally to me. I guess the only thing natural was my curiosity to discover it. I’ve always surrounded myself with creative people because I knew that they had something I could learn from them, or perhaps they can learn from me. From going to countless artshows, to late night drawing sessions, I wanted to make this post to open up my lessons from my younger days of what I used to draw and how it inspired me to keep pushing for refinement.
