so-much-to-play-with: This past weekend was supposed to be devoted to Shibari training. Two days of workshop with a new, highly competent teacher were a bit intimidating but, when there, we realized how far our dedication had brought us. We were good. Don’t get me wrong; of course we made some mistakes, learnt a damn lot, and ended exhausted, but the thing is, we could see we’d reached a level where the teacher was now there only to tweak some details after we replicated what she taught us, and mostly to give us praises. How proud we were! Firstly, proud of ourselves for being able to match and exceed expectations; and secondly from one another because there’s not a lot of things more delightful than hearing someone else whispering “She’s beautiful” when looking at my little one in the ropes. She ended the weekend bruised; rope marks will probably stay for a few days written in her flesh, but when we were on our way back home, I could see in her smile that she was proud of them. And for my part, I’ve now expanded my arsenal a bit more to make her smile like that again very soon. -- source link
