I believe in the power of prayer, and right now my family needs prayers. Just 15 months after burying my niece Carla and her baby Lea, we have to do the same for her sister Laura and her boyfriend Adam. She leaves behind her twins. It breaks my heart that they will have to grow up not knowing their amazing mother. She was beautiful, kind, loving, and strong. We grew up together and she was like a little sister to me. I was so proud of the incredible mother she had been to the girls. This picture is from just 4 months ago when we became the godparents of her nephew Silas. We all had dinner together last week, and it’s hard to believe this has happened. I have a hard time accepting that God will allow this, but I have faith that He will get us through it.
