In lieu of the 40th anniversary of the Space Shuttle’s maiden flight, STS-1, I took to replicating the JSC ID badge and MOCR green badge used during the period of early shuttle missions. The laminated ID badges of this type were some of the last of their kind used at JSC and were seen in use with chipped photo ID cards before being phased out entirely later on.Badges are scaled and produced to match their real-world counterparts based on references. Badge clips are of course improvised as the original types are very hard to come by but my compromise still holds up the look and feel. -- source link
