Perhaps fungal?Hmmm. Any idea how to treat something like this or is my plant a goner? If it’s fungal or bacterial you could maybe try to find a fungicide to spray. My other thought is pull off any dying leaves and hope it isn’t spreading through the stalk yetAlright I’ve snipped off the affected leaves so here’s hoping it doesn’t spread! All the leaves at the top of the plant still look fine.Check out this website for great list of hibiscus diseases! Based on their pics I would say maybe magnesium deficiency or spider mites? Check the leaves and stem junctions for little webs, if it’s spider mites you can treat it with neem oil. And be sure to quarantine your plant so they don’t spread. If it’s magnesium deficiency, you can apply a fertilizer that contains magnesium or use an epsom salt fertilizer :)Hard to tell from the photos. Leaning towards downy mildew, or possibly spider mites. Spider mites are a very common indoor pest, but they def have those web things. You can also look for tiny dots moving on the underside of the leaves. -- source link
