Today I am listening to the rain and knitting a super fluffy blanket, using the brioche stitch. I like this pattern because it looks the same on both sides of the blanket, unlike the basic stickinette stitch (knot stitch across the row on right side, purl stitch across the row on wrong side), and is more interesting than a regular ribbed pattern (K1, P1 sequencing).
