“the tides” and “the rate at which she lost her mind,” art journal, 2018 matls: embroidery floss, pen, found/collected paper. stitching is done with bookbinding needles, which are extra-long, extra-strong, and have a narrow eye. they’re my favorite kind of needle for doing stitching through many layers of fabric or through thick paper like this.
