Arthur meets Merlin repeatedly due to various injuries and though his bedside manner leaves a little to be desired Arthur falls for him anyway. Oh an Merlin still travels with them as a combat medic if the need arises. Which judging by Merlin’s destiny and Arthur’s inability to not get knocked out, the need arises fairly often.
