theorlandojones:TIL although selling loose cigarettes is a crime apparently choking a man to death is not I don’t know how I feel about this - on the one hand, as a solidarity move, I think it’s important we recognize how anti-Semitism and anti-Blackness have often worked together to keep people down and how our struggles have been similar. On the other hand, anti-Semitism is so often erased on this site and it makes me uncomfortable seeing a quote that was supposed to apply to a Jewish character being used in non-Jewish contexts. -- source link
